Waxing New Paint...
#2
Talk to the guy who painted the truck. When I bought my Cap from Leer, they said minimum 90 days (for the paint to cure), I'm also assuming Leer uses automotive paint.
I've heard that, on new trucks, wax can be applied right away, since Ford uses a heat curing system. But that is just hearsay.

i just had to ahve the roof on my 2002 f150 repainted under warrenty and the dealer told me that i would have to wait 30 days to wax it. i would say with it being summer time and the warmer weather that 30 days would be enough time. if it was colder out i would wait a little longer. if you dont wait long enough the paint will actually haze up on you and thats not a good thing at all.
