The one piece lift off hood is 1099.00. Make your own hinges and save some money.

I think I'm gonna install one of their lift off hoods. Supposedly only 25lbs. By eliminating the stock hood, brackets, and latching mechanism I should be able to take a bunch of weight off of the front wheels. I'll keep the stock fenders and radiator support for now, but I think I'll modify the support to trim some weight as well.

Anybody know what the hood on my truck weighs? I didn't weigh it when I had it off.
