F150 FX4 with 3" Skyjacker

Mine is ready to hit the road. Check out my gallery. I have the Skyjacker 3" kit installed with Nitto Terra Grapplers 325 60 18's with very little rubbing on the inner fender. I tied back the inner fender enough to stop the slight rub. Let me know what you think.

About $3800 total. The wheels and tires are most of it. The 3" Kit is around $500 with a set of rear shocks that are not included but recommended if you plan to flex the suspension much.

JZ, one bad-*** truck there. How much was the install for the lift and do you think you could fit 35's? One more, where did you order the lift from?

I had no labor charge on the lift. My brother installed it all for me. The trade off was that he was able to use my new ride for a couple weeks to attract more buyers. He sold two other 3" Skyjacker kits because of mine. Its good to know a good mechanic. He buys a bunch of off road parts (lifts, tires, gears, superchargers and such) so I bought it all through him. He plays with this stuff in his spare time.

I do think that 35's would fit. I see that some guys have stuffed 35's under the new 150 with only a leveling kit. I prefer some breathing room between the wheel well and the tire. I guess its just a personal preference more than anything. I am just not a big fan of stuffing too much tire under a truck.

You are right- I tried to get the Velocity 6 and they were back ordered. I ended up buying the Cheyenne 6. Good catch.

I am far north of Houston. I can throw a rock and hit Oklahoma from where I am in Texas. My brother would love to be able to help you out but his is even further north. He is in PA and could through a rock and hit New York (maybe even Canada if he didnt throw like a girl).

That's not really narrowing it down, considering I could hit a Mexican with a rock in any part of Texas. You didn't hear the latest news, Texas is now Mexas or Texico. Now the water clue may help a little, if it's salty.

The water is salty and very toxic for you, the air is brown and the people are fat. WELCOME TO HOUSTON! I gotta go with the Texico since it reminds me of the gas station and we are the nations fill up station.
