By the way, the skyjacker kit does not effect the ride at all. Just like the factory set up.

I found a rub today. If the wheels is locked to one side or the other the tires will grab the wheel lip molding. It does not rub if you lock to one side of the other on flat ground but if there is a significant change in elevation like a drive way they will rub. The rub broke the push pin that hold the wheel lip molding on. No real big deal. I just zapped a screw up through it.

JZ150, Many have already told you, but I will add to what they have said. Your rig is the SHIZZLE!!! What I did notice in your list of mods is that you went with 18x10 wheels and everything I have seen on tire/wheel index charts say that on the 04 and newer F150's the max wheel width is 8 inches. Understand I am Not knocking anything you have done, I am just in the planning phase with mine and trying to get all my " Ducks in a Row" before I start buyung gear. Do you think the tires would have rubbed as much if youd only run a 17x10 instead of the 18x10? As far as trimming the inner wheel well rubber, how big of a difference did that make. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated as I am torn between 3" and 6" lift. Thanks and keep it clean.

I saw that lift in the summitt catalog. How much does it lift the front and the back? I know its advertised as a 3" but I didn't know how much it lifts the rear.

The wheels are 10" wide. The wheels do set the tires outside the fender so you will throw a lot of dirt, mud, water and everything else up the side of the truck. An 8" wheel would keep you tucked in the wheel well.

The trimming was mostly done on the fender flare on the cab side of the wheel well. I had another thread in here describing what I did. Check it out for more info. It was rather simple.

Its hard to tell how much the lift actually lifted the truck because the tires make up some of it. The Nittos are 33" tire. WHen I stand next to a new FX4 without, my bed sits about 4-5" taller than stock. All I cared about was it still fitting in the garage.
