I own a 97 Explorer 5.0L V-8. Sometimes not all of the time the ABS warning light stays on after start up. I've cut the engine and restarted it and at times the light will stay on and other times turn off. I show no difference with the brakes or handling. Has anyone had this problem or knows what the hell is going on?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-Mar-02 AT 11:52 AM (EST)]Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes!
if it persists you need to take it in,and have some one read the codes
that are being stored in the pcm.
could be the abs module or sensors going bad.
