trans problem!!!! NNEEEDDDD HHHEEELLLPPPP!!!!
I have a 1991 explorer 4x4. When i was driving today i took my car off the express way and when i tried to move after the stop sign the transmission hesitated in moving the vehicle. it would go up to about 4000 rpm with no movement. So i shut the car off checked the fluid. Fluid was fine so i started it up again and it ran fine for about 3 miles. Then it started not weorking again. So i shut it off again and a minute later it worked fine until i got home. Could this be something electrical because it was raining or am i looking at a new tranny. I would appreciate any input on this because it is my only mode of transportation. Thanks

Well i was messing around with the truck and disconnected the battery. I let it sit for like an hour and then the truck worked and shifted fine after that. Dont ank me how but amazingky it workes now.
