EGR Valve
I just replaced my EGR Valve in my 2001 Ranger and the check engine light is still coming on. I went to Auto Zone where they check the codes for free and EGR Valve Insufficient Air Flow is still coming up. Anyone have any idea what else the problem could be???

Is "EGR Flow Insufficient" the only code it's throwing? I would try what Vin 95 suggested and if that doesn't take care of it, then you might need to pick up a DPFE Sensor more commercially known as an "EGR Valve Sensor" or "EGR Valve Position Sensor." It's an easy replacement, takes about 15 minutes, and probably costs somewhere around $60 at Auto Zone.
Also, don't forget to disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 to 15 minutes with either attempt to repair, to reset the computer and wipe out the codes.
