hey everyone i saw this truck the other day and just thought i would take the pic and show everyone i hope someday my truck will look like this.
check out my gallery for the pic
thats pretty cool the local ford dealer had a "Crushing the competition sale" with a new F-350 CC PSD HARLEY truck with the front end pulled up on the hood on 2 80's camaros and there is a chevy dealer right next to them
Hey Todd, did you take that picture? It looks like he has the Bushwacker cut out flares on there and I'd like to get a better look at them. I've been kicking around going with a set of the Bushwackers for some time now but haven't been able to get a good look at a set on an old Ford.
check out my gallery pics, I have the bushwacker flares on my 77 F250, the fenders had to be cut out to instlal them, I did not instlal them myself, they came with the truck, but I know the guy who had the truck before me and he installed them, he told me he had ot cut the fenders and wheel wells for them to fit properly. Hope thats what your looking for.
That's precisely what I'm looking for Sprout! Thanks! I've been considering trimming my fenders but haven't decided if I want flares or not. Those pictures show them great.
no problem bro, I love the fender flares, really make the truck look mean, even better if my tires stuck out farther to fill them out, the previous owner had 39 inch tires on it adn they were much wider so they filled it out better. I'll add the pics of the truck with 39's in my gallery for oyu to see, they are not as good pics though but look much better then my 35's. He sold the 39's and rims before I bought the truck, booo.
I'm going to 42" TSL's which are only 15" wide so I don't know that they'll be wide enough to really fill out those flares. I like the flow of the fender with those but they stick out a little farther than I need.
I have 14 inch wide tires now but the rim is still stock width, these tires actually look narrower then my 12 inch wide tires I had on there with my 33 inch tall tires, this is most likely due to the fact the rim is the same size and not wider, my firend had wider rims on the truck thats why the tires stuck out farther to fill out the flares. They still look good with my current rims though but better with wider rims/tires.
