L2443 pistons, D3's,D1VE block-how's it working ?
Some questions for anyone who is running this combo. Will a Comp XE274 clear the pistons, how much race fuel to add and not ping
(if needed). My only choices are Flat or domed. The motor was done with recessed TRW's .030 in a van. Now its apart and headed for a Ranchero as a fun car. I don't care about adding race gas if needed. Just want a fun ride. At current bore measurement KB pistons need less clearance so can't use. I have about .0035-.004 so its those 2 pistons I spend all my time debating on. Thanks for any input from anyone who is running those.
