$4300 for all that?? Ouch...I feel lucky now, heh. Found this at a local dealer in Southern Ohio for $2400. Runs like a brand new vehicle n' had it for about 3 years now. One thing tho, the bed needs some serious work. As you guys know, it's got the wooden bed with a solid steel tailgate. Need to replace the wood, bed lining rails and tailgate ($400 thru LMC).

Taken last summer:
Hehe...don't laugh too hard, but here's what's left of mine as of last week.
Okay, so I didn't get it done in the 2 weeks I had planned (forgot that I had to learn how to weld, do body work, break rusted bolts, etc...), but hopefully it will be done VERY soon.
Lots of pics of the rebuild in my photoalbum on my site...if anyone has idea's comments or corrections before I screw up too much...would love to hear from ya.

Going with gasp!! Chevy Bahama Blue paint, rebuilding the limited slip 9" rear end, have an Aussie Locker going in the Dana 44 front, 33" x 12.5" Thornbirds with new 15"x10" black steel rims (yea yea...they're AT's, not MT's okay), new doors, front fenders, sides of box (where the fiberglass flaresides attach to), new slider rear window (to replace the fixed unit), new front window, 3" body lift, 3" Bushwacker Flares, Mar-K Stainless bolt/bed rail kit, Maple planks for box floor, sandblasted frame and cab bottom, undercoated frame and cab bottom as well as cab floor (instead of carpet) headache rack, dual rect. tube bumpers with hooks (for those days I get stuck plowing with the Meyers angle plow which is going on as well), newer seats, etc...

Dennis: Locking up the front eh? Better put in all new HD front U-joints now... Will prolong the life of your axle shafts greatly... Maybe even weld in the caps, that's what Ryan's 84 kept doing, pushing out the caps, then destroying the axles, even before he went 351W and 35's. His was welded up front, and your locker will be a bit easier on things, but, that should save you the headache of breakage.

Almost done the rebuild...
Have front windshield to install, rework the new bumpers a bit...and finish assembling the bed....
I never realized how much rust occured from sitting over 18 yrs, what a learning experience...
I couldn't get any Tammarack for the bed, so I ended up going with Birch planks for the bed (will have to keep an eye on it to make sure water/moisture doesn't get through the finish to hasten the deterioration though) and hopefully have them installed with the new metal soon...
