Hypertech programmer
I just put a Pro-Comp 5.5 lift on my 99 F250 V-10 4x4 C/Cab. I was going to order a Hypertech programmer, but I ran across some articles complaining about the programmers causing transmission failures. Has anyone heard of this happening, if so, are there any recommendation on which programmer to use. My truck has 127,000 miles on an automatic transmission, and after the lift and tires, I cannot afford to rebuild a tranny. The main reason I want the programmer is to calibrate odometer for the 35-12.50's I put on, plus the power increase is a plus.
