My step dad is in Winsville or something Missurri and his truck an "OFF" brand 97 ext cab 350 Auto 4L60E just qiut. Does not have Reverse, or OD and it revs to 7,000RPMs in 1st before going to 2nd and a shop quoted him $1,400 I told him maybe $1K at the most but I know it's not a ford hince the"350 V8" but he needs help jit is barely driveable.he's in Winsville missurri or somthing anyone have a shop that will do it cheaper??

The transmission is going to require a total overhaul Dustin. I hope you find someone cheaper but $1400 is the going rate for that.

 

Unfortunately, that sounds about right for that trans. Wentzville, St Louis area.
