Hard tonneau cover (tilt type) for '68?

Hi all,

I have been looking for a source for a flip up Hard Tonneau cover for my '68 f100. So far doing searches all over, and scouring many catalogs I haven't found any sources.
Anyone out there know of one? Please help. Thanks.

Here is a tid bit of info that someone might want to know......if you are looking for a tonneau cover(either type).

The tarp that I put on my '67 LB is the same as the mid 90's LB. I saw the ads for our year tarps and the price is OUT of this world!! I went to local shop and he got the size sheet out and compare my bed to the chart. The mid 90's version was a perfect fit. I ordered it and installed it. A perfect fit!

DON'T be fooled into thinking that you have to buy the HIGH priced model that is "made" for our years. The beds did not change that much(until the SD version) where they taper front to back.

As for a "hard" top. That might be a bit harder to fit, since the design of top may have to line up with side of bed. The radius at the top may interfere or not close tight.

Now, if you want a soft top that lifts, I'm sure you could get one like I did.

Good Luck

Tonneau Info

Thanks for the info Larry.
Do you think the bed size would stay same into mid seventies or later for say a hard top flush type with a tilt hinge?

Try ******** in CA. They have a website but they have been making hard covers that I know of for the longest.

At our G2G the other day, xman7896 showed us the one he made. He said that he couldn't find a ready made cover to fit his truck ('68, I think). It was constructed from aluminum "L" and plywood with a vinyl cover. Looked pretty good. You might contact him for more detail.
