I am thinking about installing an "E" cam in one. Will it work? I know it has no normal distributor. They do have mass-air though, right? Surely someone has tried this or knows why it can't be done. Explorers run pretty good, but why not get all the performance from the good heads and intake with a mild performance cam. E cam is pretty mild and should be able to work with stock converter. Help me out her. Anyone!
Yes the E Cam will work. I have one in the garage waiting for install with my new longblock. There are a few people that have put one in. You pickup some power with it because the stock cam is so small.
yep.always check your p-v clearance.if you stay under .510 intake and .534 exhaust lift the gt40p heads cleared for mine.but check clearences anyway.get the fms headers before they are all gone.they are best priced explorer mod to make
