Exclamation A/C orifice tube

please help me find out where the orifice tube is on 92 ford explorer sport 4x4.

There is a pipe that runs below the accumulator and to the high pressure tube of the evaporator (the bottom tube coming out of the evaporator). If you follow that pipe to about 2 inches forward of the accumulator you will see a threaded fitting. Uncouple that fitting and the orifice will be inside the tube of the evaporator side.

97 Expy

Does that apply to a 97 Expedition as well?

No, Ill have to look that up. I think its in the liquid line just past the condenser, which is the lower line coming out of the condenser on the passenger side. I know that is where the 97 F150 orifice is but the Expy with dual air may be different... let me recheck that.

EDIT... on my Expy with dual air the orifice is located just inside a fitting in the liquid pipe that runs just under the battery. The fitting is visible just past the battery, firewall side and at the battery box.
