Snow plow prep package???
I special ordered my 04 f-350/4x4 6.0 FX4 and it did not come with the snow plow prep package I ordered came with the dual alternators though. Does anyone know was other suspension components are different and maybe the price to add it....

According to the 2004 order guide, the snow plow package isn't available with a supercab or crew cab on diesel 4x4's. Does your friend have a 2004 or an older truck with the 7.3L?

no both 04 6.0 extra cab 4x4 w/ fx4 suspension...? his build sheet says snow plow prep on it...he got his in january I got mine in February..

• Highest front GAWR (5200 lbs.)/springs (6000 lbs.)
• Steering damper
• Auxiliary springs (5.4L only)
Restrictions:
• Available with Regular Cab 137" WB with 5.4L, 6.8L or 6.0L
engine
• Available with SuperCab 142" WB with 5.4L or 6.8L engine
• Available with SuperCab 158" WB with 5.4L or 6.8L engine
• Available with Crew Cab 156" WB with 5.4L or 6.8L engine

You shouldn't have to do anything more than center the steering wheel, because you will not be changing the caster/camber or toe in/out

it could also be due to the other packages you or your friend have, if you have the camper package or the heavy service package then you can not get the snow plow package(its basicaly the same thing) but if your buddy does not have either of those packages than he could have the plow package
