Help, I have a 97 F-150 4.6L. My brake and reverse lights along with turn signals are giving me problems. When I brake my brake lights do not light up and at the same time the lights on my stereo go out (factory stereo never been replaced). As soon as I let my foot off the brake the stereo light comes back on. Also turn signals seem to work just fine when I am not braking but as soon as I brake my turn signal(s) will blink very rapidly. I tested the the fuses under the steering wheel. I cleaned battery terminals and cables. I pulled lights out in back and could not see any broken bulbs. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong.

I think I'd start by checking all the grounds. There are some near the battery on the firewall, on the rad support and behind the kick panels inside the truck.
Please let us know what you find.
