Damn, $45k for a truck that can't even leave the highway. Ok, who's really gonna buy one expecting to go off road? I know. What I really can't believe is that they are only gonna sell 2500 of them this year. Come on its a Dodge not a hand made European sports car. Still a sweet truck i must say. Can't wait to see what svt comes back with. The next few years could be really crazy if chevy steps it up too and leave their four door at home and builds a real sports truck.

ford has that big block V8 they are going to call the hurricane. they are developing it now. they are going to put it in the F150. if they do end up comeing out with that motor theres no telling what SVT might do. as for the SRT Ram its cost is $45 and they tell you towing with that truck is not recomended and the payload is only 900 pounds. if i had a lightning i would not haul with it but i might pull my boat with it and i am sure that if you are going to pay that kind of money for a truck you want to be able to tow with it. there is also a V6 deisil in the works for the F150. the have one they are i guess you could say testing. but as for the new generation lightning look for whatever comes out to knock your socks off and be able to eat ALMOST anything on the road.

hey that Big Block sounds like fun and I've heard something in the past about a deisil in the F150. Do you have any links or anything with info on either one. I would love to read more about them. I agree that the next L is going to plain and simply badass.
