Hi Guys....

I am off to pick up another 60. Its pretty much a gonner as there is no straight metal on it but it does have the Shortbed frame and 9" rear end under it so Im going to save at least that much, The grill and interior are gone as well as the front glass all fenders are dented pretty bad, grill is gone, the hood has a few small dings and holes(3/16")X2 from hood ornament? bed sides are good as well as the front panel cab has rust and dents...

and is it ugly...but for free Hey what the heck

Shane.....IT HAS A GLOVEBOX DOOR FOR #'s.....So I will get them to you before I bury it

also has a 302 and C4 radiator support looks good, has the stock steering box and wheel(black with missing button from center)

I plan to pull the doors, stab the side with the forklift and flip it on its side. then proceed to torch the sheet metal loose to get the rolling chassis loose, then use siad forklift to place all body parts removed into dump truck and hual to scrap metal yard

I will save hood, doors, radiator support, heater box, stock radio, steering box...does anyone need any of the listed items??

Shane...Sorry was supposed to be 02H...wrote it down in a hurry and didnt see it properly...I had a hay day with the torch, cutting the cab loose and the front sheetmetal off. I pulled the rear glass and doors. steering box was cut loose(just cut the bolts) and will have it out in the morning and have the cab off...This is great, cutting it all off knowing I dont have to use it again. The frame looks straight so far and all mounts look good. the steering box seems to have play in it, I dont know if its loose(out of adjustment) or has broken worm gear...probably just loose. the 302 seems to be a vintage 289..to bad its not a hi po or boss.

It's coming. I'm up to 115, and have submitted my logo for size and design check. I'm waiting to hear back from the webmaster.

59 panel tuck

Check out my website www.cmcsigndesigns for a picture of my 59 panel truck. It was a 4 year project and is currently having the automatic transmission fixed and I hope to be back on the road with it soon. I am finishing up my 69 mach I restoration and have just started a 55 pickup project. I have been away from the forums for a while but enjoy how they are loaded up with very useful info.

I had to buy a pickup to put an original frame back under it. It was sitting on a 79 ltd frame that was a foot too long. After I got it swapped, I put in a Mustang 2 front with discs and used the ol 79 rear end after I cleaned up the coil spring mounts. It has a 68 302 4 brl and an automatic, before the trans went out it was running great on the highway 60-65 no problem. I hope to have the trans back in in a couple of weeks. It is a great advertisement for my business!

'59 F100

I currently have a 1959 F100 and a 1960 F100. The 1959 is the one tha I am working on. The data plated info is:

F10J9K21026
WB 110
Color R
F10J
Date 12M
Trans A
Axle 01

I have installed a 429 ci (carburetor)/C-6 combo, a rear-end flip kit, the front suspension from a 1976 F100 (twin-I beam w/disc setup) and dropped front axles.

I didn't cut the frame for the suspension install; rather I removed the front cross-member and straight axle. Then I installed the cross-member, frame-towers, etc. from the donor (frame width is the same).

Since the '59 frame is straight (not arched over the axles like the 1976), the result was a bit of a front-end lift. By installing the dropped front axles, I got a mild lowering effect (fenders are about 1 1/2 inches above the tires.

To get the same effect on the rear I installed the flip kit and reversed the rear spring hangers. The truck sets level and has an over-all drop of about 4 inches. I'm not quite ready to put it on the road, but will be before this Fall.

I am in the process of finding a new home for the 1960 F100.

Hey man, far out and thanks for the info! Go ahead and send me the '60s info too. I think that'll bring it up to #130!
