58 F100 panel
Shane,
is this still ongoing? I wondered because the thread is 14 years old?
I just bought a 1958 F100 Panel Truck and I'm sorry to get only informations and parts for Pickup Trucks but hardly find any for the Panel Truck.
This is the tag-info:
F10J8R29223
110 E 18 F A 01
05000 126 4000 4132
I'll ship it over to Germany to bring her back to former beauty. Not 100% sure if I'll go as original as possible or showcar. Hope to get some truck rookie support here!
Thank you for your efforts!
Best,
Markus
New bed, new cargo headlining, new locks, interior panels (?), new window (RH) - no source
New seals (same as PU?), new tires
new bench (what was stock - bench or individual seats?), was there a 2nd row bench/seat?
Roof gets exciting work, didn't find repair panels

1958 details
Hi!
My first attempt failed - so I try again to post my informations. Is this still ongoing? I just wondered because the thread is 15 years old. What happened with all the tag informations?
My tag info is:
F10J8R29223
110 E 18 F A 01
05000 126 4000 4132
What's the decode for the 2nd line?
Is it true that the "F" in first place was replaced by a "P" for panel truck?
I'm a curious new owner of this cool truck and I want to restore her and get her back to the former beauty of the late 50s. Not sure yet if I go 100% original with patina or showcar.
Where do I get parts for the panel truck? All the sites I went through mostly only have parts for Pickups. Do all the cab parts match btw. panel and pickup?
Thank you for your efforts.
Best regards,
Markus
locks cargo and passenger side missing, seals, inner door handle cargo door, what was stock? bench or individual seats? Does the flooring for the Pickup fit in the cargo of the Panel Truck?
new tires pending
I am a little afraid of the roof work. I saw no repair panels or metalsheet on the market. Same exhaust as Pickup?

F100 in Sweden
I found this page when I was looking for spare parts. It seems to be a hard generation 1957 - 1960 to get spare parts to, not like 1953 - 1956 at least on the internet.
I bought this F100 1958 from Oklahoma, now running in south of Sweden since april 2017.
Engine is a 352 and transmission is a C6, not original, with floor shift.
VIN = F10L8R10525
Would be nice if someone could let me know if there is drawing available for lowering(drop) the truck 2".

Hello Markus
I write on english, my german spelling is bad.
Her is some nice site I found for our generation F100:
Truck Parts & Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford & Dodge Trucks | LMCTruck.com
https://www.performanceonline.com
Disc brake conversion kits
Chevy Car Parts | Vintage - GMC Car, Classic Truck Parts
Try to find someone that brings part in a container, much cheaper freight if you can wait.

58 F250 Hi-Lift
Bought this as a Christmas gift to myself in 2015. It hadnt been registered since 1984. Redid the wireing from end to end, gaskets and seals everywhere, brakes and both master cylinders and clutch slave, kitted the carb and rodded the rad. Getting to where it runs pretty well. Starting to knock out all the caked on bondo...some places over an 1" thick. It will get there.

New to Group
Hi, My Name is Robert, I am currently restoring a Factory 1959 Ford F-250 4x4 pickup. It originally had a 292 with 4 speed and divorce transfercase. I am updating engine and trans with 80 390 with 4 speed. I have rebuilt stock brakes and rebuilding most of suspension, but parts are hard to find as opposed to 53-56 ford pickups, which I had 2 of them. I wanted to go different and relive my childhood when my family had a 59 Ford F-100 we used for camping.
I will update my info on truck later, so you can registry it. I am trying to find parts and suggestions of updating my truck to hopefully start using this summer.
Thanks
Robert

I just found this F600 hiding in a shelter I was tearing down. I had all the info typed out and had loaded pics and obviously hit the wrong button. If it shows up twice, I apologize . a little over 21000 original miles. I think the tires are the ones that came on it from the factory

ORIGINAL CONDITION IN LA
Truck was exported to the UK from LA last summer, it wasn't in too bad nick and is a VERY basic farm truck no heater etc etc the truck hadn't run in years and had no clutch or brakes. After getting it moving and stopping under its own power i'm Slowly going through it and restoring original components where i can, i use LMC for all my replacement parts.
SO FAR SO GOOD
Many hours work left to get it where i want (looking like its lived in a field all its life)

1959 F-100
I am brand new to this forum and I just recently bought this 1959 F-100 and as you can see I have a lot of work to do. It is in very rough shape but as you know the 1959's especially with a big back window are pretty rare. I have just started searching for parts and have found out that there are not a lot available to purchase new either OEM or repop! I am hoping to make connections on this site to help with my search for the many parts I need to restore my truck!
