F-150 4.6 Needs help towing - More hp?
Hi All,
I've been doing some research but can't seem to find any great solutions other than getting a K&N Filter kit. I have a travel trailer and my truck seems to need a little more horsepower. I can buy a new truck but really like the one I have. So I'm looking to try and boost the performance. I've looked at the chips and exhaust and new filters. Any suggestions would be great. But not looking at spending that much or the wife would kill me.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. I might order this one. Plus a K&N filter.

I agree, my diablo was cheaper than the exhaust, and gave me the most noticeable power, also added an intake, mostly noticeable at the high RPM's. The chip you will feel at any RPM, gives it a lot more pull down low and keeps it from running out of steam up high. Also, if you have an auto tranny, it will firm up the shifts and shift better when you are into the gas. If you have a manual, the extra power makes it that much easier to get going, especially if stopped at a light going up hill.
