I just found out today they just put a water park in at that location, as well as a miniature golf. You guys over to Centerville area could meet me over to Keosauqua and ride with me, if you want. Maybe Bloomington, if you sweet talk me enough

Bloomfield would be great, but I'd feel bad making you make that 20 extra minute drive over then 20 more back just to get where you started, when me and Welding can keep on truckin and meet you over there. Weldingfreak most certainly has a say in this as well.

You should have seen it in California! 2.50 for Premium, 2.30 for regular. I got ****ed...and I wasn't the one that had to pay for gas.

 

Yeah, I got to thinking that wouldn't be so great, but if I had to, I'd do it. Keosauqua's right on my route, there's a gas station right on Hwy 2 before you would turn to go in town, we could meet there. They don't have any problem with people parking there, plenty of space.

Ok I see atleast 6 people that can make the Jul 17 date at the aformentioned place, so that is enough people for starting up the Iowa chapter, so we need a time now that we have a place, and maybe we should start a new thread or post an announcement for anyone who has not read this thread that might be interested.
anytime from 10am on would work for me, so now lets here from some of the rest of you, as I don't know if any of you have to work that might cause a conflict.
Also for anyone interested I live in chariton, so will be traveling north on hwy 14 then straight east on I-80, so if anyone is along that route, and wants a ride let me know.

Around 10:00AM sounds good, I'd even say earlier, but I'm sure there would be much opposition to that!

 

With the distance for most of us, I would say that's about as early as we dare, because I would have to actually be on the road by 8 at the latest, and I've become quite the bum lately, and that's early to me anymore!!

 

I'd think that, with the distance some will be traveling, and just for our appetites - lets make the meeting time 12:30-1:00? A late lunch for us. At the earliest...11:30 though.

The sooner we get a time set, the sooner that those of us tagging with others can get ride arrangements worked out. Lightning and I have to Be in Keosauqua a touch before Fellro ought to be getting there, and if any others are meeting up for rides then they'll have the same coordination issues.

What's going to be weird is once we're there, having to put both faces AND names to the message board name's on here. Hehe shall be interesting...

I pm'd welding already, but the wife mentioned she wants to go and make a day of it, since my parent's place is 15 miles from the meeting site, so may be changing that...
