Exclamation When you take your truck in for warranty repairs...

...how do you get transportation? For example; if you have a problem with your truck and you take it to the dealership's service department to get the problem repaired under warranty, do they give you a loaner vehicle or do you have to provide your own transportation to and from the dealership? Let me know what you have had to do.

Thanks in advance,

Sully

If they keep it overnight, most dealers will give you a loaner car. If it is just for the day, they will usually shuttle you to work or home but you are responsible for getting back to the dealer. You can call the service manager and he will let you know what the dealer offers.

Unless you've bought a Ford ESP extended warranty, then it's the DEALER that pays for a shuttle ride or a loaner car. A lot of people are under the impression that Ford pays for it; they do not. The cost of "alternate transportation" is born by the dealer, not Ford. ESP will pay for a loaner if the vehicle has to stay overnight.

My dealer provides a loaner if you bought your vehicle their.
And they're almost always all gone.
