I Have A 1986 460 In My Motorhome. I Have Been Having Problems With It Backfireing. The Fuel Pump Is Part Of The Ending Unit. It Is Electric. Does Anyone Know The Pressure That This Pump Should Put Out? I Have Not Had Any Luck Locationg A Replacement Pump And Sender. Any Idea Where To Find One. Dealer Says Discontinued.

A 1986 460 will be carbed. You only need 4-6 psi of fuel pressure so any of the inexpensive electric fuel pumps will work. Just make sure the pumps don't need a fuel pressure regulator. Jegs sells a Carter electric fuel pump for $57. The part number is 180-P4070. Of course these pumps mount on the frame...not in the tank.
