LS or not LS

LS or not LS
I recently picked up a couple of Rangers for parts, an '83 and an '84. Here are the tag numbers off of the rear axles. I can read the ratios, but I don't know what denotes a limited slip.
'83 with 2.3 4cyl- 5sp-
WGX AV 3D20
3 73 75 5390A
'84 with 2.8 v6 5sp-
WGX AU 4803
3 45 A75S398B
I assume (with my usual luck) that neither of these is limited slip. If anyone can decode these for me, please let me know. Thanx, -TD

OK, thanks. As I said, I knew the ratios from the tags, but that, and the 7.5 inch, was all that I could read. I figured that they were probably not LS, but now I know. What codes on the tag define LS or not? Also, the rear that is in my '89 Ranger is a 4.10 LS. I would like to use the 3.45, will those gears work on the 4.10 LS carrier, and I have the axle mounted VSS, can I still use that? I assume I would have to replace the gear (for lack of a better word) that mounts on the carrier next to the ring gear with one having a different number of teeth to match the 3.45 and send the correct VSS signal to the computer. Any thoughts on this? (Yes, I know that I would have to have the gears set up when changing things around.) -TD
