haha, ironic you say that, we got about an inch of rain in an hour this evening! (Fort Worth) I almost took the top off before I went to work, bloody glad I didn't!
It's been very dry here, hope my taking the top off will shed some rain......
Hey LEIGUY,
I've been several times to a great grill just up the road in plano, tx. So i can say for a fact i love texas food and bier also (i need to join stein club next visit)
Im in fort worth too, a friend of mine has had his top off for a couple weeks now, i hope his isnt flooded now. hopefully mine will come off soon, just gotta talk the parents into it
I can't keep my top off to enjoy the awesome weather here in TX. I work for the railroad in a chemical plant! Wouldn't be so bad, but I work graveyards..all the dew and moisture brings all the chemical back to earth and on my bronco I have to clear my windshield every other day because the crud. I DON'T want that crap on my seats and dash, etc. I was thinking about making a fastback soft top, but I don't know what to use, or where to get something that wide.
hey JIMS89BRONCO,
ive done some measuring and a tarp thats about 6x6.5' should do the trick for a homemade soft top. ive been curious if anyone else has attempted this. i think ill post that topic.
I've got more pictures (from different angles) if anyone wants to see them. This is the second summer I've taken it off, I myself am contemplating some kind of custom soft top. Coming up with an idea that wont look retarded is proving challenging
you would think that a "Fast back" style would be easy to make. My question is how to get a friggin window in there(without it leaking/and without a sewing machine)
I don't worry about my back seat...heck it's laying in the garage anyway. I'm going to have to try some things and see what happens.
