99 PSD 6spd. Batteries and connections are good. WTS and SES lights go out as usual. What's going on. Drove the truck to and from destination, came home, went to start after 1 1/2hrs and NOTHING. Any ideas?

edit: Ijumped the wht/pnk and bl/or with no luck. Do you think it could be the selonoid on the firewall?
Same thing happened to me last week. Turned out to be a bad starter solenoid. Same symptoms you described.
Try turning the key on and use a screwdriver to short across the
two main contacts on the solenoid. I did this and it would turn right over. That's how I got it to the dealer since I'm still under warranty.
LAST EDITED ON 30-Jun-01 AT 06:04 PM (EST)[p]The solenoid was only $16 at Napa so I elected to change it myself and not hassle with taking it to the dealer. Have my wife follow me there, wait for truck all day, have wife take me back to dealer to pick up the truck.....Forget it! It was worth the $16 to me even though I am under the 36/36000 myself. Not to mention making the appointment and waiting to get me in. My truck is my daily driver so I need it when I get in it.
NBr6car, glad you got it fixed though.
