7.3l (T444E) oil level gauge....

Ive just received a TSI letter stating that there is now a fix for a leaking oil level gauge o-ring that can be done w/o removing the oil pan. I have one to install tomorrow (1st one) so ill let u know how it goes and what all is involved. I havent received the parts yet but the part number is 1846164C91. Just letting you guys know.

International Tech, while you're online I'm going to change the topic here a little. I was considering swapping my original factory water pump that has 163K on it for an International water pump. I like the idea of a coolant filter mounted directly to the water pump. How much would this cost compared to a new Ford water pump?

probably cost about the same pump vs pump. however the pumps are different. The international one is bulkier and i dont know if the ford fan clutch is a direct bolt on and the inlet and outlets of each pump are different(larger). I actually have a F350 that im working on now(HPP) and will compare the 2 (ford vs Int'l)tomorrow and see what has to be done.

Thanks. I know some guys have done it and I have (thanks to cookie88) pictures of the parts needed for the retrofit. I'm mainly interested in the overall cost.

So I don't turn this thread into something else, please post your response HERE.
