Question 292Y to 351C

I pulled out a Blown 292 Y-block out of my 62 Galaxie (Sorry not a truck) and am Putting in a rebuilt 351C. Everything seems to fit But the Motor mount brackets on the frame are about 1" or 2" inches wider on each side for the Cleveland Mounts to seat.
This is my first engine swap and am not edjucated on Motor Mount fabricating.
But i figure I could Center the engine in the compartment and Make a templet out of cardboard for Somekind of steel Plate to bolt or weld to the stock Cleveland mount and extend out to be able to bolt to the Engine. Is this gunna work or is there an easier way.

Thanx in advance

Thats about the only way to do it, since none of the mini motors were available in 62. All of those cars were designed to run the puny 6 cylinders or the massive (heavy) V8s.
