Boost, EGT and Tran's temp gauge's

LAST EDITED ON 10-Oct-01 AT 11:55 AM (EST)[p]Fellow PSD owners. Once again I come to the all-knowing Ford enthusiasts page to seek the wisdom, life experiences and knowledge of my fellow PSD owners. In the words of my good friend Mike “Gutter” Garcia, “Some call it a 12 pack I call it a support group.” This is my support group!! I am interested in adding a gauge cluster to my PSD, I would like to use/add the 3-pod design to the drivers side A-pillar. Could someone recommend a product that installs and functions well??? As always your help and experiences are appreciated.

Thx…Jeff 2000-PSD, F-350 Crew, Auto-Tran's

Boost, EGT and Tran's temp gauge's

Just a note: The oil pressure gage in your Power Stroke truck does NOT read oil pressure. It operates from a on/off switch at the front (top) of the engine, at the oil reservoir. So, in addition to what ever other gauges you may want to install, you may want to put an oil pressure gauge on your list.

I heard that about the oil pressure guage. Is anyone familiar enough with the 2002's yet to knwo about the Transmission Temp Guage? There is one instaleld in the upper right of the instrument cluster, and unfortunately it always goes to the middle of the scale whether cold or pulling 15K through mountains. My guess is that it's an on/off switch too.

I only installed the boost and trans temp guage. I used the autometer A-piller mount. It only comes in black, you will need to paint it. I went to the dealer and they are able to get a can of spray paint to match. I went with the Isspro gauges, the trans temp was very easy to install. The trans temp is also a 270deg gauge. It looks great!

When you install the trans temp guage it takes some time before it starts giving you some information. If you are not pulling and if it is cold outside it my never move. So don't do what I did....freak out the first time I took it for a test drive.
