Looking for 4.2 connecting rod and piston
Howdy,
My 4.2 V6 suffered from the infamous lower intake manifold gasket failure. The number one rod bent and the piston was scraping against the crank counterweight. I'm tempted to just straighten the rod in a hydraulic press unless I can find a source for just one rod and pistion. I think a rod from a 3.8 would also work. Please no lectures on why I should replace all the rods, pistons, ect.
