Question Really liking BLACK bumpers ... how to get on the cheap/free?

Maybe I'm crazy, maybe not. I'm thinking that I  r-e-a-l-l-y  want black front/rear bumpers ... as found on black FX4's. I've been checking out some gallery pics and it's only making me want them more.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=34264&width=2 (BlkButy ... of course!)

https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=37590&width=2 (Kevin Rowe?)

So, has anyone changed out bumpers? Easy/hard? Is this something a dealership should do for me?

I know I can't afford to buy them. I guess I'd probably have to find someone who wanted my Lariat 4x2 chromes. But, I'm thinking that will be quite difficult. Plus, I have the Reverse Sensing System (RSS). Anyone I found with which to swap would have to have this option as well.

Hmmmmmm...........

I have had to touch up SEVERAL spots on the front bumper. YES they look great but very hard to maintain. If I had 1000.00 I would already have the Chrome bumpers on it.

shaper, you make me laugh! Well, the honest answer to your question is I'm "urban" as far as "cowboy" goes. I was born and raised in the "city." But if you're actually from Texas, then you'll respect the fact that I'm a 5th genertation Texan (born in) and that my family's been here since 1837.

Yes, I have three hats (two straw, one felt), and four pairs of boots, etc. Do I work on and/or own a ranch/farm? No ... not yet. I'll save that for "retirement."
