Park lights stay "on"
My park lights would not turn off. The dial switch is on off position , however, the park light stay on.
I had to remove the fuse to shut them off then put the fuse back. The park lights stay off after I put the fuse back untill I use the lights again.
How you I fix this .
Thank you for your responses

theres point (a)your light and point (b)your on/off switch. My best reccomendation before taking it in to get it fixed is probably just to througholy check every wire, connections, etc. before you do anything else. Most likely like Jimmy said, you probably just have a shorted wire and possibly may need them re-wired in a certain location. I hope this helps.

yup, like jimmy said you need a wiring diagram, and an ohmmeter or multimeter. with the meter you can go through the circuit and find a short if there is one.you will know when you find the short, because there will be zero resistance, and when you get the wiring diagram it will tell you how much resistance there is supposed to be. also if the switch is not opening (deenergizing the circuit) than the light will stay on. if the relay contacts are not opening when you turn off the switch that could also be a problem.
BTW, homer- it is not just point A and point B. electrical is slightly more comlicated than that.
