I am needing to replace/rebuild my E4OD. 97 4x4 PSD. I just got this quote from Phoenix Transmission and I wanted to see if it looked like a good deal.

Reman Tranny---$925
Round trip freight-$260
Kevlar clutch upgrade--$125
H/D Torque conv. upgrade--$375
Cooler- $95

Grand total-$1780

(core charge-$550)

Any body happy or sad with these people? Any good or bad experiences I would appreciate hearing about. Thanks.

We used them on a chevy transmission about 9 months ago. We didnt have one problem with them or the transmission. Dont forget if you have a warranty issue they usually make you pull it and send it back unless you pay the extra for the nationwide warranty. If concerned with warranty issues then go to ammco or Jasper engines and trans.

 

Thanks for the response. I am going to get it next week. I hope the warranty issue is a "non-issue" but I won't jinx myself.
