Official Date for G2G -- June26

Okay I have a date scheduled for the G2G. I have 2 children (son 7 and daughter 2) so please bring your children too, they wont be bored.I will be rolling the grill out in the front and grilling up some chicken, steak, pork, hot dogs, and anything else that anyone wants to bring. My wife will probably be playing D.J. for the day, so if you have some C.D.'s that you would like to hear then bring them by too.

I would like to hear from everone that will make it or at least try to make it by June 15 so i know what to buy. Please email me or post it here and let me know if you will bringing something....Food, drink....I have a "some what long" driveway so if you have some mods that you would like some help with then plz let me know that too so I can save you a place in the drive so we're not working in the street.

If anyone is in the military, i live right next door to the Mini Mart in Base housing. Please ask for directions if you need them via email or this forum.

Time and Date : Sat June 26, anytime after 10:00a.m.
Place : My house 21 camino la madera
camarillo 93010

Please RSVP if possible.

Chris

Hey Chris: Looks like I can finally log on to the forums from home! Couldn't do it for the longest time. I'll plan on being there. Probably just be me and my daughter since my sweetheart has to work. Bubba's new motor should be broken in by then so you'll hear me rumbling up the driveway, setting off car alarms. Let me know what you need me to bring (coolers, chairs, etc.) Thanks again for taking the lead.

It'll be good to hear another monster rolling to the driveway.
As for items to bring i'll know when sometime closer to the G2G.

I took it to a tranny shop in the san fernando valley and had it checked twice nothing came on the diagnostics and they drove it and found nothing. It slips under load and shifts hard from 3rd-4th gear. The tranny fluid was fine and still does it. Any suggestions?

As much as a diagnostic helps, it really doent help ALL the time. If you know someone around you that has an E40D tranny, barrow their computer to make sure your isnt screwed. If it still does that samething, then go to hydraulic side of the tranny. there should several solinods in there that control your shifting I.E. hard shifting and slipping.......which gear does it slip in?? cause if its 4th gear then there is probably your problem, 4th gear solinod. You may also consider having a shop do a tranny flush & fill.
Let me know how it goes man and i'll head around and ask also for some more info.

O ya, Im more of an engine mech then anything else.......Being a Navy Engineman and all. But everyone I work with and for have many people that do all their own work, as do myself, so no matter what, i can normally narrow more problems down to a few things without even driving, hear, or seeing the problem myself.........I just relized that it sounds like Im bragging......really sorry for that cause Im not
