Thumbs up Couple of Brake questions???

People with the Cryo-Powerslot Rotors and Hawk Pads:

How many miles are you getting on your Hawk brake pads?

Those of you with stock rear rotors and pads:

How many miles are you getting out of the stock original pads in the rear?

I have 73K on the stock rear pads and I have 48K on the front Hawk Pads using

slotted rotors....... Just wondering when I should change out the pads?? I thought

I would ask before I tear the tires off the Ex, just in case they may last a lot longer????

I didn't even make it to 30,000 on the original everything, front and rear. RR piston hung up and destroyed the pads and rotor. All other rotors were horribly rusted and had chunks of the rotors (all 4) themselves missing.

Just over 3,000 miles on the Cryos and Hawks, so that doesn't answer your question. What will is popping the wheels and tires and checking yourself. I only found out when I replaced the stock wheels and tires myself...

You should replace when it's time to replace. Profound huh? lol

Really though, there are too many variables to be able to give you a mile/date for them to be ready to be replaced. The only real way to tell is to yank the wheels off and have a look see for yourself.

From what I have read the rotors will last a lifetime. The pads are up to the driver.

Don't think I'd say a lifetime.

Just swapped out front and back, 75K on stock. wear was even and rotors were in good shape. Put stock on again, limited towing of 35ft tt so not extreme use, also wife doesn't ddrive it much so that helps

I had about 20% on front and 30% on rear, could have waited but then I'd lose the pads in the garage, have too many parts sitting around.

Hope the love of my wife doesn't read this post...... oooof
