Tranny Temp Guage?

Has anyone tried to fit/or seen a Transmission temp guage for the new '04. I've seen kits for the superduty and the '03 and older F150, but nothing for the '04?

Try this google search. From what I saw it looks like they may be a universal application because they go to the tranny pan itself.

Trans Temp Google

Here is the phone number to Stewart Warner Tech line as well...1-866-797-7223 they should know more.

Did they change the tranys or something? It would seem that unless there was a change the sending units for the older units would work. Also the type that go in the line to the radiator would work anyway.

Did they change the trany design? Any inline sensor should work no matter the year. Sorry to repost my computer let me think that the first post did not go through.

I noticed that they had gauges for water temp as well as transmission oil temp, so it would depend on which temperature you are most interested in monitoring.
