i need to get the gas gauge working in our f-600 wheat truck, the guage is fine but someone rewired it. any suggestions or a diagram? thanks guys

You can get a 1963 wiring diagram from the online store here. It should be close. You can get an actual service manual for your truck but you would have to call the store to find out if it had wiring diagrams.

 

really man, i dont want to have to pay for this, i was just needing to know where one of the wires goes, it disapears in the wiring harness and my multimeter says its not giving any juice at all

Juice for the fuel guage runs directly to the guage itself from a source in the cluster, which usually runs the other guages too. The sending unit just varies the ground of the guage, thus making it read more or less. So you will not get a reading on the wire from the sending unit unless it's hooked to the guage which is the sending units power source. Look on the tank sending unit, and see what color wire is going to it. That will be the same color wire that should go to the ground side of the guage in the cluster.
