What transmission is a code "T"?
The tranny in my dad's 93 Aerostar just died.. It started slipping quite a lot, and within 50 miles the van wouldn't go any faster than 25mph. I am probably going to replace it with a junkyard transmission - Dad doesn't want to spend a lot of money on it at this point. The tag on the door frame lists the tranny code as "T". Which tranny is this?

Are there any specific versions/models of the A4LD that I need to look for? I know the A4LD came on some 2.3 Mustangs. If I find a tranny for another car, it is as simple as bolting up the Aerostar bellhousing?
