Hi Jay, welcome to FTE!

I suppose one thing you should know up front is that your Mazda B3000 is for all intents and purposes mechanically identical to the Ford Ranger w/ 3.0L "vulcan" engine.

So in addition to the Ranger /B-Series Forum, you should also check out the 3.0L Technical Information & Tips Thread from the 3.0L V6 Forum when you get a chance, it will give you some insight into your new engine, among other things.

okay, now i have a few questions. what does the dreaded spark knock sound like? and how fast should my truck be? its SLOW... my dad had a 4cyl wrangler that was just as powerful.

the tranny feels weird. should it be really smooth? or should the shifting feel a little rough and crunchy like the 87 F350 i used to drive for work?

when i start off in 1st gear i get a squeeking sound. is this normal? it sounds like the clutch.

and along the same lines i get a vibration at high rpms. could the flywheel be warpped? or any other part of the clutch?

i need all this answered soon cuis the truck has a 6 mo, 3000 mile warenty on it and i need all this fixed before its up
