E4OD 96 Bronco Trouble
I have a 96 Bronco w/180,000 mi. It has been shifting hard for a few days. Then left it running for about 25 min. in park an put it in rev. backed up about 25 ft. put it in drive when about 100 ft. engine died. Put it in park and started it back up just fine. Now it won't move in any gear. The are now codes and the dipstick reads 7-8 inches higher than supposed to. Talked to local trans shop said the t/c was bad. Any help would be great. Don't want to send $1500 on a new tranny or $200 on a t/c if it is just a sensor or PCM.
