Just thought that some of you guys might enjoy a look at the used oil analysis that I just got back on my 02 Eddie Bauer. I was real pleased to see how low the wear numbers came in. I will keep using the Havoline syn at 4-5 thousand mile oci. I can get it for $3.48 per quart when it is on sale at Advanced Auto.

I run the Wal-Mart Super Tech Full Synthetic.
I change the oil at 10K, the filter (Fram) every 5K.
Before anybody says "watch out...", let me just say 1) it has the current rating and 2) Wal-mart doesn't have a refinery, where do you think they get it? and 3) I'm not paying for any advertising in auto enthusiast magazines. That amounts to a dollar or two per quart!
