trouble selling bronco?

anyone have any suggestions for selling my 94 bronco? I had it on ebay 2x's and every body there wants some kind of miraculous deal. I have it on autotrader now. Here is a link to it http://rick.enterinfo.com/bronco.htm
I started off asking 8500. I am asking 6500 now. Is this price unreasonable? any feedback is appreciated.

thanks

It seems I can't sell my centurion either and I started the auction of at $4500. I had some guy offer me $800. He was really dreaming. I will let the truck sit before I ever made a move like that.

My Brother-in-law tried to sell his 95' EB with a 5.8 for $8500 and didn't get a single hit. It only has 75K on it. It just depends on your area but I think $8500 for a 94' is steep. Of course I paid $9K for my 96' EB 5.8 with 93K miles and Leather, and I flew to Denver to get it. All the Broncos that I saw locally were junk and in the same price range with more mileage.
Now days people seem to be going after the fuel efficient rides unless they are enthusiasts.

Actually I just passed up a 1994 XLT, 351, 4 speed auto, 103k, and exceptionally clean, new tires, and with state inspection, this afternoon. Asking price was 5200, he won't go below 5000, I would have bought it for 4500. If he had a new auto like your's I would have gone to 5000. But the guy didn't have any info on the truck he buys a few older trades a year from a local dealer who is a relative. The major repairs are in your favor for people who follow the problems on these trucks but I live in Maryland which is a fairly high cost of living state and here you would definetly be on the high side.

$$$

My 2 cents. I paid $6000 for my '95 Eddie Bauer, VERY nice shape, 84,000 miles.

I had someone offer me 7-8k for my 96 EB so you might want to ask 5k or just keep it like I am, remember a couple grand a year for gas and repairs is still cheaper than $1000.00 a month on some the same size new

Yes and no on the reasonableness. For someone who knows Broncos and was going to keep it, I would say yes. From your descriptions, the upgrades, and the replaced parts(tranny, transfer case,etc)...seems to be a good machine that will look good and drive well for years. Unfortunatley with a 146K miles it's gonna turn a lot of folks away. Also, many want a a 351 and not the 302. And folks will check the Blue Books and Black books for pricing and it exceeds those.

When my '93 XLT, 302, with 122K miles, was totaled in Dec '03, insurance gave me $5200 for it. I was very satisfied.

I had a 96 EB with 60,400 original miles in perfect condition,5.8L, 8 inches lift, 35in BFG MTs, leather, towing package, lights, grill guard, exhaust, gears,....insurance tried to give me 9650. Waiting on the court day still.

I have to agree that your price is a bit high. It would need to be perfect and a EB with less miles to bring that. That color is also not one of the more popular schemes. I have seen it on ebay and I continue to look for one that is close to what I had. 2 months before the crash, I was offered $15,000 at a gas station and would not part with it. Come to think about it, I think that is the guy that hit me....
