how high is too high? any major drawbacks?

Well I just got off the phone with an authorized Skyjacker dealer, he verified you can't get an 8" kit w/ the extended radius arms. So what's up with that? Everyone says the extended radiud arm kits are hands down better than the drop bracket kits, but if I don't plan on jumping the darn thing over mountains would I really need the armed kit? I love the way Bronco's look when their high. You know, "the bigger the better". The 8" kit is about $100 more the 6" system, and of course for another $200-$300 I could have the 10" kit, and maybe squeeze some 38-40's under the old girl. Jeez, they know how to hook ya! Of course then you may as well go for the 1 ton SAS.
I know blah, blah, blah...Sorry.
Let me know your feedback
PS. I know anything 8" and above I will be lengthening the driveshaft and re-gearing, that doesn't scare me in the least.

if you want anything bigger than a 35 you should be looking at SAS cause anything bigger is gonna eat the TTB alive, you'll have it on the jack more than on the road

How well do broncs cope with bump-steer? Of course there are ways to limit it, but with an 8" lift it seems to me it would be an issue... if broncos are anything like FSJs...

I'll second that. The laws on lifts vary dramatically from state to state.
In MO its all about bumper height.
In California you need a carb number.... That was a joke, but it could so easily be true.

If You want to go that high why not do a straight axel conversion. Broncograveyard has bolt on kits and I think you can get them all the way up to 10" lift
