Hi all, I'm new to the FTE,I'm Brian i'm in Lincolnton,NC and I'm trying to get my
inherited 72 F-100 sport custom back together. It was my Grandfathers and it has 110,000 original miles on it. It had been sitting beside a shed for a few years
andthe water had been running right off of the shed on the pass side of the truck so it's all rusted out in the bed. I tuned it up and drove it about 200 miles and it broke a cam bearing, which seized breaking the cam. So I have it all tore down and ready to rebuild. I'm going back with the original 302 with a new crank and new 10:1 flat tops, a 496/520 lift cam with 255/265 duration @50. I have sent the heads to a friend who worked for RYR in the head shop to have 194/160 valves put in and have them ported and polished, I have a edlebrock torquer intake(not a newer torquerII) I think it's a single plane. I need a bed for this thing and i would like to go to power disc brakes and power steering,any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not stubborn and love to hear criticism and new ideas,
