The TB and MAF are going to cause a lean air/fuel ratio with a Superchips Microtuner. A custom tune is needed for it.

it just seems going form 4" to 3" and change is reducing the air flow. just installed a monster throttle body today. accufab sctb 96-98. they couldnt get me the regular one ctb 96-98. so the small maf is the smallest part of the intake. looking for a 4" maf. any ideas?

my mac intake from ken for my 5.4 is 3 1/2" did you measure yours? also put your truck on a dyno and have a wideband 02 reading done for air -fuel ratios- fax that info to ken so he can burn a chip based on the readings

You can go a number of ways. First question is, did the MAF come with a calibration sheet or other calibration information?
