Chips???
You did not pose a question but my opinion of chips is not a good one. If you look at some of the other posts on this board you will see the the chippers seem to have a lot of problems with their vehicles. I considered chipping after getting my PSD X but would not even consider it now. I have had NO problems with my PSD. I get 22-23 MPG on the highway and a combined city hwy of 17-18. I could not be happier, and more importantly, my wife could not be happier.

Chips???
If you look at the other posts here you'll see ther chippers have no more problems than the non-chipped trucks. The only chip problem I've seen here is someone bought a 125HP chip from a dealer who wasn't honest enough to tell him 125 is too much. 50-60 HP is par for the course for all driving, 80HP is you don't tow much or if you use an exhaust. 90HP or more is "extreme".

Chips???
I just ordered a Diablo delta Chip. In reading the letter from Ken?, I must ask, what power level do I need for what applications? This is my daily drive but also my family uses it for vacations, truck camper,2000lb and 5th wheel 7000lb. I have a K&N and down pipe. I don't want to hurt my engine. How should I use the chip and how should I drive in each mode? i am looking forward to better MOG and brisk throttle responce.

Chips???
54HP can be used for all driving. 78HP can be used for loads under 8000lbs. 54HP will give better mileage and less smoke. There are no special driving insturctions for either mode though other than how a diesel should normally be driven. I do recommend you get an EGT gauge if you gun it a lot with the 78HP setting and a heavy load.
