Remember, this is a persuasive essay. Facts are SUPPOSED to be manipulated to your advantage. That's the whole point of a persuasive essay, to convince someone of your stance. And, sinister73, the last time I checked his opinion was that Ford is the best so no Dodge "plusses" are needed in this thread.

Oh I see, it's more of a bash on the competition without any real emphasis on a fair comparision? More like hearing only one side of the story, without
knowing all the facts? In this case, this thread probably belongs in the general automotive forum, since fair comparision is out the window.

JMHO.

Do you know what a persuasive essay is? I don't think you do. Every thread doesn't need to be the same old thing over and over. Just because you can't turn this one into a debate doesn't mean it can't exist.

johnsdiesel, thanks for helpin out. So far ive gotten down how ford has dominated the fullsized market for 28 years and how ford has far fewer repair issues than the others. SOund good? Any other ideas?

I would not skip the technical aspects like solid axle vs. IFS. It's up to you to prove your point and this may mean explaining function of parts. Ford also has the best interior room.
