rtp1250 Dipstick types

Is ther a differance between dip stick for a 3.0and 2.9

Its very possible that the length could be different.

I took one out of a 2.3 and used it on a 2.8-Same length. If you aren't sure, change the oil and put 4 qts in the engine. Before starting it, check the level. It will probably read full. After you start it, the level will drop because of the oil filter. Then top it off. The 2.9 takes 5 qts, the 3.0 4.5 qts. I'm pretty sure the difference is the size of the filter.
