Making A 1977 2 Wheel Drive Into A 4 Wheel Drive

I have a 1977 2 wheel drive. It is a 3/4 ton extra cad xlt. If i have the running gear as in front end and transfer case. What am looking at getting into trying to make it into a 4 wheel drive. Is it worth it, the running gear is out of a "77" highboy.

Here is one that I found. The Highboy frame is narrower than a standard frame.
